Aranyaprathet
The city on the border with Cambodia, about 200 km east of Bangkok. There is a huge market on the Thai side, and cheap products are distributed from Cambodia. There is a casino on the Cambodian side and many Thais visit. Therefore, the border gate here is always crowded. The downtown area is about 5 km away from the border. It is a relatively quiet city with no large commercial facilities.

1. Rong Kluea Market
The market with a very large site area. A huge number of products are distributed from Cambodia. There are various types of products. Such as daily necessities, kitchen utensils, military supplies, clothing, shoes and bags. Not sure where and what is for sale. There is no choice but to actually look around. It's a hot country here, so it's going to be a lot of work to walk around.
However, rental motorcycles and carts can be available on site. There are also some air-conditioned 7-Eleven. Take a look around at your own pace.
2. Thetsaban 2 Market
The space where the products are lined up is small. The impression that this is a transportation station rather than a market.
There are buses and minivans to Bangkok and local cities. Songthaew from Rong Kluea Market will also make a brief stop here.
3. Aranyaprathet Customs
It is installed on the road from the border to the city of Aranyaprathet. Cars and buses will be temporarily stopped, and passengers' passports and luggage will be checked. Even if passengers are on the bus, if the passport is incomplete, the person will be forced to get off here.
Downtown
The area around the railway station is a simple country town with no tall buildings and a wide sky. It's quiet during the hot daytime, but in the evening, stalls appear and people are bustling.

Walking on foot is enough to explore the downtown. However, transportation is necessary to reach the Cambodian border.
Because it's about 6 km away. There are choices that for moving to Bangkok and other cities include buses, minivans and trains.

There are some taxi rank around the market. The cheapest way is a shared bus(songthaew). The fare is 15B to the front of Aranyaprathet station.

Aranyaprathet Station on the State Railway of Thailand East Line. As of 2020, there are trains to Bangkok and the Cambodian border.
