Nam Tok

The city where the terminal railway station is located.  It seems that most tourists move from the station to their destinations by taxi.  Therefore, the surrounding area is quiet except for the souvenir shop in front of the station.

Tourist spot

1. Sai Yok Noi Waterfall

A small waterfall where clean water collects.  It feels very cool here.  The steam locomotive used by the Japanese army during World War II is displayed beside the entrance.

2. Wat Tha Sao

The temple is located a distance from the train station.  I visited the temple on foot from the station, but unfortunately it wasn't a particularly distinctive one.

3. Wat Namtok

The temple is located near the station.  The grounds were large, but unfortunately the Great Buddha couldn't find there.  It might be a good place to stroll around while waiting for a train.
